Free cards (idea)

Long story short i did it for fun. Why did i end up making 76 cards? I got an idea to make them into a free cards when you spend X amount in the market for our degree show. I got the idea when i was almost finished blacking the cards. There is not much photos on before and after, mostly middle and end. But i have now 43 cards where i drew random stuff and 33 cards from my original idea when drawing comic characters. You can see the differents on how many cards there are. On the left are 33 cards and the right 43. few cards are in landscape and rest are all portrait

The work (development)

At first i did this for fun and just did Deaths Head and Deaths head 2 and i blacked out some pokemon cards as my canvas to try and draw small when i am used to draw big. After that i took the pile of common cards and glued two and two together after 7 cards got the pokemon logo still showing after many paint. I ended up getting 76 cards from gluing and painting.

After using my sketchbook as my working table for painting the cards black, it ended up looking like this

Accident into idea

I was trying to make Moon Knight and my pen ended up bursting with a lot of ðaint out of the pen and made a white blob. Instead of going over it with black i ended up using it and saw a face out of it. So i ended up testing with diferent shape and i created faces out of these and more

These cards are going to see how the sleeves work if i laminate them to keep them more safe. These two deaths head cards are the orinigal one cards and peppa pig is a test with two cards glue together

I ended up getting more cards to work on.  Not all cards were used for they got destryoed by posca pen and then being sprayed with black spray can

You can see the different cards that were used with posca and those who were srpayed just by the top part. The white lines are the old cards that were posca painted and the black are all sprayed with black spray paint.

Sadly even how many i put the same card in, it didnt get fully laminated. Some cards are fully laminated and some/many are still opened but cant be closed after many attempt
